About

Friends often ask me how I got into photography. My answer: I realized I was pushing forty-years old and didn’t have a hobby. I guess that’s a side-effect of spending years in school and years in the office or on airplanes traveling for business.

So, I saved up some money and purchased a Canon 20D a few years ago. Then, instead of watching the movies on all those plane rides (they only change them twice a month anyway) I started reading books on photography and applying what I learned. Pretty soon my family and friends started complementing me on the pictures I took. I was honored; and they inspired me to share my pictures with you.

I’ve learned that fine art photography goes beyond capturing a pleasant scene; the image must speak its message to you. My goal in the images I’ve shared with you is to honor our Nation’s fathers and the men who have sacrificed so much so that we can enjoy the blessings of freedom. Further, I hope that through my images, you see the hand of God who gives all men their talents.
